Comment HP's first Champion model which featured the folding design. Also the first unit equipped with an equation solver. And the first model using Algebraic entry mode. This was the beginning of a general trend away from RPN towards algebraic mode. I wonder what caused this development - in all those years since 1972 when the HP-35 was released RPN had always been the choice for both scientific and financial calculators.
